Day 63

Williams, AZ - Sedona, AZ
1h10 - 59 mi (95 km)

We left Williams in the morning for an easy drive to Sedona today. We arrived for the lunch time in Sedona and were amazed by the huge crowd in this small town. Maybe because today it is the great conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn and also the Winter Solstice? Sedona is well known in the new age circle and is famous for having 5 vortex located around the town. So far, we didn’t feel anything different but a little overwhelmed by the crowd everywhere. We decided then to buy some food at a grocery store and have a picnic at a popular park a few miles away from the city center. It was extremely peaceful and beautiful. At 3 pm we headed to our new Airbnb to check in so the kids could have a little nap. So far, we love it and we can’t wait to explore some of the beautiful places around Sedona.
